What is BIFA?
The British International Freight Association (BIFA) is the prime trade association for UK registered companies engaged in the international movement of freight by all modes of transport, air, road, rail, and sea, and/or customs brokerage. As a not-for-profit organisation, BIFA is funded by subscriptions and run by its members for members.
Types of BIFA Membership
Full Membership
Hexagon Group holds Full Membership with BIFA, available only to UK registered Freight Forwarders actively engaged in the supply of UK and/or international freight services or UK Customs Brokerage services. Full Members have access to the BIFA Standard Trading Conditions (STC).
Associate Membership
For companies not engaged in Freight Forwarding or Customs Brokerage activities, Associate Membership offers a form of advertising to develop interests in the Freight Forwarding industry through BIFA.

Full Membership Criteria
Hexagon Group is a UK registered Freight Forwarder or UK Customs Broker.
We are actively engaged in the supply of UK and/or international freight services.
We hold adequate insurance policies to cover our business activities.
We adopt and incorporate the latest edition of the BIFA Standard Trading Conditions (STC) into our international freight contracts.
